Bourgogne Chardonnay "Heritage 1831"
Situation
Bourgogne
Level
AOC Régionale
Grape variety
Chardonnay
Historically, Burgundy is one of the oldest terroirs of reference for the production of Chardonnay wines. It is thanks to Burgundy’s calcareous clay soils, its northern location, and the diversity of its "terroirs" that lend purity and nuances of finesse and complexity to the roundness and body that characterize Chardonnay that this grape variety is now celebrated around the world.
Tasting
Predominantly fruity notes of white peach on the nose with floral nuances and toasted almond. Lovely volume on the palate with beautiful texture and mineral structure marked by great delicacy and subtle notes of oak.
Food/wine pairing
The charm of this Bourgogne Chardonnay "Vieilles Vignes" with its aromatic profile makes it the perfect match for seafood, fish cooked in sauce or simply prepared white meats.
Serving and keeping
Serve at 12°C (53°F)
