One of the great appellations of the Côte de Nuits both in terms of size and of reputation, Gevrey-Chambertin is characterised by a wide variety of different terroirs. "Les Corvées" is located at the entrance of the village and is planted in deep soil. This lends depth and density to the wines produced from this specific vineyard.
Tasting
Gevrey-Chambertin "Les Corvées" develops aromas of red fruit and delicate floral notes (peony), and a slight hint of vanilla from the oak. Nice body with flavours of cherry. Fine tannins lend balance, structure and a beautifully long finish.
