Chardonnay

Located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Meursault is one of the flagship villages and among the most
famous in Burgundy, which is referred to as the capital of the great whites.
The Bourgogne Chardonnay from Domaine du Pavillon comes from two plots located in the village, which are
on the axis of an old path created by the Monks, between the Meursault Hospital - historic building - and the
Croix de Cîteaux .
Since the 2017 vintage, the denomination "Côte d´Or" can be added to the appellation "Bourgogne", in certain
areas of the department, subject to a production yield lower than that of a Burgundy.

Tasting

On the nose, the white flower aspect is often dominant, with nuances of hazelnuts or almonds with some
honeyed floral touches. While the attack on the palate gives a certain sensation of roundness, the balance of light
mineral tension helps to support and prolong the aromatic impression on the palate.

Food/wine pairing

Ideal companion for fine fish and shellfish, it also goes well with white meats, poultry in sauce and spicy cheeses.

Serving and keeping

Serve between12 and 14°C.
Can be appreciated now, or in 3 or even 5 years.
